  • Ben Guo’s main practice areas are commercial law, property law and employment law. He has extensive experience in real estate development, corporate acquisition, education law, wills and estate, corporate compliance, and dispute resolution. Ben Guo provides a wide range of legal services for many companies and institutions, including cross-border investment, financing, and corporate compliance. He also represents clients in China and Australia in project structure design, equity and asset acquisition, transaction negotiation, drafting and execution of legal documents. Ben Guo graduated from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) in 2013 with a Bachelor of Laws degree in law. During his undergraduate studies, Mr Guo also majored in English at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Later, he went to Australia to continue his studies and obtained a Master of Laws degree and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Queensland and Bond University. After nearly 8 years of legal studies, Mr. Guo has a solid legal theoretical foundation and formed a mature legal thinking mode. Mr. Guo has a strong interest in real estate development. In 2019, he completed the advanced property development course by the Property Council of Australian. Mr. Guo has provided a full range of legal services for many developers, including project acquisition, DA application, building and construction, and sales and marketing. During his studies at Bond University, Mr. Guo served as a member of the Bond Law Journals Committee, responsible for the review of legal journals and translation of law textbooks. In the meantime, Mr. Guo also won the second place in the Bond University International Speech Contest.In his spare time, Mr Guo works as a volunteer lawyer in a number of community legal centers, providing free legal advice to the vulnerable and disadvantaged.
